Sun room possibilities

Went to visit friends recently in a cottage they were renting for a holiday.
Love the sun room on rear of their cottage, attached to a single storey height roof.
Could this be a possibility for North View Cottage?

Pine Furniture, to paint or not...

Yet more Ebay purchases, lovely solid pine furniture, but do I paint to shabby chic finish, or leave as pine?

Spring? or Not?

I wrote in February about the lovely weather and spring flowers in the garden. Have woken this morning to a covering of snow, more forecast, and temperatures of -7!

However, the spring daffodils brighten the day!

Replacement carpet fitting

Shortly after the lounge carpet was fitted, we noticed a fault, almost like a six inch raised line of tufts, right in the middle of the room.

We contacted the carpet company, who sent out someone to examine the fault, and after many discussions and emails and telephone calls, it was finally agreed by the manufacturer to supply and fit a replacement carpet.

This has been done today, only downside was that everything had to be emptied from the room again...still worth it as it looks so much better now!
