The kitchen has now been stripped of its wall timbers, ceiling, old tiles and skirting boards..

We have uncovered a chimney breast and space where there used to be an open fire.
Velux windows are in place, decision to be made as to how best fit ceiling panels to give best effect of added daylight, and one of the kitchen doorways has been blocked up.
Serving hatch!!
End of December 2010...the old roof beams are removed, damp plaster chipped off the walls and treated with damp proof treatment. and the fireplace opening repaired
