Demise of the Blue Pallet - at last!!

We had the travertine tiles delivered on a huge blue pallet..and you may have been following information about it on the blog...

I tried to sell it on Ebay for the grand sum of 5p...but despite two people watching it, no sale..
I also advertised it on Free-cycle for someone to come and take it away for firewood...no joy!

Today it has been attacked with a hammer and crow bar..and chopped into fire size pieces to burn on the fire..

Hallway flooring

We are making progress with laying the oak floor in the front hallway.

It is a great improvement after living with a concrete floor there for nearly two years!!
