The Builders are back on site this week, and have made a start with replacement garage door

First step was to remove the old broken door.....

Now complete, just needs paint to timber

Garden Weeding

Easter weekend and the weather is quite nice, decided to make a start on garden tidying
3 hours and aching back and legs later, two thirds of the weeds are cleared..more to do next week!
I am amazed at the difference today and what cottage garden first looked like last year..see main photo on blog

The builders return to the cottage on Tuesday, and one of listed jobs is to repair the stonework on front corner of garden wall...which will result in the cotonenaster shrub being cut right back, although may have to leave some roots in as will be too deep to dig out manually!

Update...Tuesday, more ongoing weeding and digging..most of weeds now removed...
